Miller, a resident of Blakesburg, Iowa, appeared in a Colorado courtroom on Friday to finalize the legal transfer process. Prosecutors accuse Miller of killing the victims during a crime spree aimed at stealing their vehicles and financial cards.

During the Friday morning court appearance in Colorado, Miller officially waived his right to an extradition hearing. To speed up the transfer of custody, the local District Attorney in Colorado dismissed all state-level charges against the suspect.
This legal move ensures that the Iowa man extradited to Utah can face his primary charges without state-line delays. Law enforcement officials originally captured Miller in early March near the town of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
